Hydrogen Valley Rovereto

PROJECT “PNRR M2C2-I3.1 ROVERETO”
CUP: C73D23000020006

In Rovereto, we are building a renewable hydrogen production plant, thanks to funding from the European Union – Next Generation EU under Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

The project – funded by the European Union NEXT GENERATION EU as part of the “Hydrogen Valley” initiative in Trentino for the redevelopment of disused industrial areas – will contribute to the decarbonisation process by supporting the energy transition.

OSMOSE: Enhancing European electricity grids

The OSMOSE project aims to maximise the efficiency of the European electricity system while improving the integration of different renewable energy sources. The OSMOSE project involves major European grid operators, as well as a number of universities, research centres, and industrial partners. Through Hydro Dolomiti Energia, a project partner, we manage activities involving the use of hydroelectric plants for cross-border energy exchange.

Artificial intelligence to drive innovation in the Energy & Utilities sector

Artificial intelligence to drive innovation in the Energy & Utilities sector

After years of collaboration in Cloud, Data Management and Cyber Security, we are renewing our partnership with Microsoft Italy, pooling expertise, resources and experimentation to drive the evolution of the Energy & Utilities sector.
The new three-year project aims to accelerate the adoption of Generative and Agentic AI to transform the experience of customers and employees. The project will promote technological evolution in strategic areas for the Group, such as operations and customer service, sustainability and security, offering new solutions and innovating business processes to create more flexible services and enhance the performance and security of plants and networks.
The partnership will also enable knowledge sharing to develop valuable applications for the entire Energy value chain, with impacts on citizens’ quality of life and the competitiveness of the national system.
An ambitious and challenging project that will be supported by structured and personalised training plans to assist the Group’s employees in developing new skills and guide them through this digital evolution journey.
