In Trentino, we manage over 80% of the electricity and gas distribution, with 330,000 electricity customers and 168,000 gas customers.
We manage 1,500 km of water network and are involved in every stage of the water cycle: from abstraction from springs and aquifers to treatment for drinking, through to distribution to 78,000 customers.

We manage approximately 13,000 km of medium- and low-voltage electric grid, serving over 330,000 customers across nearly 150 municipalities in Trentino. We regularly carry out expansion, renewal and maintenance work. We use advanced technologies such as drones to optimise network management. Using specialised sensors, we can quickly gather detailed information about our systems, improve the planning of new works, carry out regular inspections, and respond promptly in emergency situations to identify faults. Our activities comply with rigorous environmental standards certified to UNI EN ISO 14001:2015, while our hydroelectric power plants hold EMAS registration from the European Union for environmental performance.
We distribute natural gas to approximately 168,000 customers across 90 municipalities, thanks to over 2,750 km of network. Before it enters the network, we handle the odorisation of the gas to make it detectable in the event of leaks and ensure people’s safety.
Our network is equipped with continuous remote monitoring systems that prevent faults and ensure service continuity. We also carry out regular maintenance and targeted checks to detect leaks, and we are committed to building new sections to progressively extend territorial coverage.
We provide district heating by recovering the heat generated during electricity production at the cogeneration plants in Trento and Rovereto, with no energy waste and minimal CO₂ emissions. District heating ensures safety for communities through centralised, maintained and remotely monitored facilities.
We build and manage liquefied natural gas plants that serve industries and residential areas not reached by the standard distribution network. LNG is a cost-effective and environmentally sustainable solution, with central plants ensuring high safety standards through ongoing monitoring and remote control.
We manage the entire water cycle: we draw water from surface springs (70%) and underground aquifers (30%), treat it and distribute it through over 1,400 km of remotely monitored water networks. Our aqueducts are monitored 24 hours a day to ensure service continuity, prevent malfunctions and intervene promptly. We also manage the sewerage networks for nearly 78,000 customers, serving around 200,000 residents, with the utmost respect for natural resources.
