Trading

We manage the dispatching of approximately 5.6 TWh of energy produced by our plants and those of third parties, as well as the movement of 500 million m³ of gas through transport and storage contracts.

Our expertise extends to environmental markets: we purchase guarantees of origin to certify renewable energy, trade carbon credits (EUA) and administer white certificates (TEE) for energy efficiency.

We translate the complexity of energy markets into concrete solutions, balancing the portfolio and maximising asset value with a focus on sustainability.

Flexibility services

We are among the leading resource aggregators in Italy in the field of energy flexibility: a strategic role in enabling the transition towards an increasingly decarbonised electricity system. We aggregate consumption resources, distributed generation and storage systems, coordinating them to provide flexibility services to national and local grid operators. We actively engage in the Capacity Market and the balancing market to ensure stability and security for the Italian electricity system. Our renewable energy solutions enable the Terna, the transmission system operator, to manage the grid efficiently and sustainably. We turn the complexity of the ecological transition into tangible opportunities, harnessing all of the region’s resources.

Energy box

Energy Box is our web-based digital solution for analysing, managing and monitoring corporate energy costs, for both electricity and natural gas. We integrate the entire energy expenditure monitoring cycle into a single platform: from automatic invoice verification to strategic reporting for management, through to budgeting and forecast scenario planning. With Energy Box, we put transparency and control directly into the hands of businesses, generating real value for their operations.

Energy Aggregation & Advisory Services

We support businesses in strategic activities that minimise energy procurement costs.

Through our Advisory service, we develop and update our customers’ energy risk strategy, exploring market opportunities and regulatory incentives.

We manage a total of 3.5 TWh of electricity and 2.4 TWh of gas to optimise energy portfolios with expertise and foresight. We also act as aggregators in strategic initiatives: Energy Release 2.0 is one such example, enabling energy-intensive businesses to access renewable energy at regulated prices and develop new green generation capacity.

Closed Distribution Systems

Closed Distribution Systems are networks that distribute electricity within industrial, commercial or geographically limited shared service sites, divided into Internal User Grids (IUG) and Other Closed Distribution Systems (OCDS). We are among Italy’s leading operators in ongoing support for Closed Distribution System Managers, with a 25% market share and over 300 supply points managed.
Using billing software for distributors, we handle the entire operational management phase: from meter reading and communication to the System Information Operator (SIO), to calculating and allocating tariffs under the Italian Closed Distribution System Regulation (TISDC), through to generating XML invoices and reporting to GSE, Terna, CSEA and ARERA.
