HOW WE ASSESS APPLICATIONS

In examining applications to be admitted to the preliminary review, we assess:

Project-based nature of the initiative for which the charitable donation is requested

We examine only applications relating to a project that is well defined in all relevant aspects (cost plan, degree of alignment with the activity carried out by the applicant pursuant to its bylaws, benefits and advantages in terms of social utility, etc.). We do not take into consideration applications formulated in generic terms or referring to mere operating needs of the applicant entities (for example, contributions to ordinary management).

Reliability of the applicant

We verify that applicants possess proven professional capabilities and sound financial management, with particular reference to: the continuous and regular nature of the applicant's activity, also certified by the single tax compliance certificates, and the absence of unpaid amounts with one or more companies of the Dolomiti Energia Group.

Honourability, ethical conduct and absence of conflict of interest of those holding offices in the applicant entities

We take into account the provisions of the bylaws, also having regard to the unpaid nature of the offices and the characteristics of the persons holding them. These requirements must be possessed and maintained for a period of 4 years from recognition of the contribution.

Relevant or innovative nature of the initiative

We give precedence to projects that present elements of innovation in their approach to the issues addressed and in identifying the related solutions.

Achievement of objectives

Applications must contain quantification of the results achievable through implementation of the initiative.

The requirements must be met at the time the application is submitted. Failure to meet such requirements shall render the application inadmissible.

Dolomiti Energia, during the preliminary review of the applications received, reserves the right to request further information and supplementary documentation. If the request for additional information is not responded to by the deadline communicated, the contribution application shall no longer be taken into consideration.

In Trentino and throughout Italy, we also sponsor social innovation projects aimed at supporting projects dedicated to vulnerable people affected by forms of exclusion and hardship, through Dolomiti Energia's Etika and Sinergika projects. The methods for selecting and managing such initiatives do not fall within this application procedure.
