Stefano Granella is an Italian business executive with a 30-year international career, during which he has held senior leadership positions at major companies in the energy sector. He is recognised for his contribution to the strategic development and transformation of Italy’s energy landscape. Since 2024, he has been Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Dolomiti Energia.

He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pisa and furthered his managerial education with a Master’s in General Management from SDA Bocconi and an MBA from INSEAD, a leading international business school.

Granella is Vice Chair of Elettricità Futura, Italy’s leading association for the electricity sector, with responsibility for hydroelectric power.

He is also a founding partner of Wisehub, an innovative start-up specialising in the use of advanced technologies for data acquisition and processing in the telemetry and metrology sectors through an advanced IoT-based approach.
