Trento, 23 July 2026 – International rating agency Fitch Ratings has published a new Rating Report on Dolomiti Energia following the update of its 2030 Strategic Plan, maintaining the Group’s long-term rating at BBB+ with a Stable Outlook. The rating confirmation reflects the Group’s financial strength and credit quality and confirms its strong positioning in Italy as one of the leading operators in the energy sector, with a highly diversified range of activities.

Fitch identifies Dolomiti Energia’s integrated and diversified industrial model as one of the key factors supporting its credit profile. In particular, the report highlights how the integration of power generation, commercial activities and regulated businesses contributes to the stability and predictability of cash flows, mitigating exposure to energy market volatility.

“We welcome with satisfaction Fitch’s confirmation of our BBB+ rating,” said Stefano Granella, CEO of Dolomiti Energia. “It represents important recognition of the strength of our updated Plan and of the Group’s ability to pursue its strategic objectives while maintaining a balanced financial profile. We will continue to operate with financial discipline and a focus on creating value for all stakeholders.”

The publication of the Rating Report follows the recent update of the 2030 Business Plan, recently approved by the Board of Directors. The update confirms the strategic directions outlined in the Oltre 2025–2030 Plan, taking into account the results achieved in the latest financial year and the main developments in the relevant energy market scenarios.

The Group’s industrial model, based on the integration of power generation, energy management and sales to end customers, structurally mitigates exposure to price volatility and uncertainties in energy markets, while strengthening the stability and predictability of results.

Power Generation

The target for increasing total renewable generation capacity is therefore confirmed, with an increase of approximately 0.6 GW by 2030, while continuing to diversify the generation portfolio both technologically and geographically.

Commercial Growth and Development of the Energy Value Chain

With regard to commercial development, the Group maintains its target of reaching 1.3 million commodity customers by 2030. Growth will be supported by strengthening the commercial offering, developing value-added services and increasing integration between power generation, energy portfolio management and sales to end customers.

Infrastructure Development and Regulated Services

As part of regulated services supporting the region, the Plan confirms the strategic role of investments in energy infrastructure, providing for increased investment and RAB growth to approximately €1.1 billion by 2030. Strategic initiatives include the development of the gas transmission network across Trentino, aimed at strengthening the Group’s presence in the region and progressively expanding access to the service in areas not currently reached by the network. The project will contribute to supporting local economic development and preparing the region for the challenges of the energy transition.

Consolidation of the Environmental Services Business

With regard to the environmental services sector, the Plan provides for the consolidation of the current operating scope and initiatives already underway. The focus will be on operational efficiency, service quality and the economic sustainability of existing activities.

Confirmation of Financial Targets

The Plan update confirms the Group’s growth and value creation targets, with EBITDA expected to reach approximately €600 million by 2030. A progressive improvement in the risk profile is also expected, driven by the growing contribution of regulated and semi-regulated activities, which will account for more than 50% of total EBITDA by 2030. This development will further strengthen the resilience of the industrial model, reducing exposure to energy market volatility.

As highlighted in the Rating Report, the strength of the results achieved and the transactions carried out during 2025 contributed significantly to strengthening the Group’s financial structure. The actions undertaken are consistent with the objective of maintaining a solid financial profile capable of supporting the significant investment plan envisaged by the Plan.

The updated Plan fully integrates the Group’s new Sustainability Plan and confirms the central role of ESG objectives in its growth strategies. Key priorities continue to include the development of renewable energy sources, environmental sustainability and the development of people through training and skills development programmes.
