Trento, 15 September 2026 – Dolomiti Energia has brought a new photovoltaic plant into operation in the Municipality of Fabriano, in the province of Ancona, marking a further step in the growth of its renewable energy generation capacity and in the implementation of its 2030 Strategic Plan.

The plant is located in the heart of the Marche region and was developed as part of the strategic partnership between Dolomiti Energia and the Epico Group. It has an installed capacity of 1 MW and uses bifacial photovoltaic modules mounted on structures that automatically track the sunlight, a solution that optimises energy production throughout the day.

With expected production of approximately 1,600 MWh per year, the new plant will be able to generate enough renewable energy to meet the average annual electricity needs of approximately 800 families and will avoid the emission of 319 tonnes of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere each year.*

“The commissioning of the Fabriano plant strengthens the Group’s portfolio of renewable energy plants and represents another step in our integrated growth across the entire energy value chain,” said Pasquale Fierro, Director of Renewable Power Generation at Dolomiti Energia. “In line with our 2030 Plan, we are investing increasing resources in new plants and in the acquisition of additional assets to diversify our energy sources, increase generation capacity and contribute to Italy’s energy independence and decarbonisation targets.”
