European Mobility Week

Dolomiti Energia promotes more sustainable mobility with two initiatives dedicated to its people
18 settembre 2026

Trento, 18 September 2026 – On the occasion of European Mobility Week 2026, the European Commission’s leading awareness-raising campaign to promote more sustainable forms of transport, Dolomiti Energia is taking part with two initiatives dedicated to its people. This year’s European campaign focuses on the theme “Mobility for Everyone” and invites citizens, institutions and businesses to promote more accessible and inclusive transport systems.

The two initiatives are concrete examples of Dolomiti Energia’s year-round commitment to promoting better home-to-work mobility. On the one hand, “Al lavoro in bicicletta” is an awareness-raising day promoted by the Municipality of Trento to encourage the use of bicycles for everyday travel, scheduled for 18 September; on the other, the UP2MOVE Challenge is a national competition between companies that recognises and rewards the positive behaviour of employees who choose lower-impact modes of transport.

Both initiatives are part of a broader strategy through which the Group promotes a culture of sustainable mobility and environmental responsibility within its corporate community. Choosing to cycle, use public transport, carpool or walk part of the journey to and from work means cleaner air and lower resource consumption.

Arianna Eccel, Mobility Manager at Dolomiti Energia, said: “As a Group, we are committed throughout the year to promoting initiatives, services and tools that make it easier to choose alternatives to private cars for commuting. European Mobility Week is an opportunity to highlight this journey and remind us that every individual choice, when shared by many, makes a tangible contribution to improving people’s well-being and generating practical benefits in everyday life, such as increased physical activity, lower travel costs, reduced traffic and journey times, as well as cleaner air.”
