- Growth consolidates: workforce exceeds 1,700 employees
- Gross operating profit (EBITDA) of 96.7 million euros and net profit of €43.2 million, down compared to the first quarter of 2025 (-18% and -34% respectively) due to low water supply levels and partially offset by good results from other regulated businesses

- Customer base continues to expand for the sixth consecutive quarter (+16,000 in the quarter), reaching a new all-time high of 830,000 customers
- New PPAs with NaturaSi and tolling agreement with Metlen strengthen the role as enabler of the energy transition in support of Italian businesses
- Partnership with the Epico Group, which includes operational photovoltaic assets of 6.3 MWp and a hydroelectric plant in advanced permitting phase
- Energy Release 2.0 contract signed with GSE, involving over 250 energy-intensive companies with a total consumption of approximately 4 TWh/year
Rovereto, 21 may 2026 – The Board of Directors, chaired by Silvia Arlanch, today took note of the results as at 31 March 2026. "The results achieved confirm the strength of our model and our ability to consistently deliver growth,” comments Stefano Granella, CEO of Dolomiti Energia. In a context of rapid evolution in energy markets, we have strengthened our industrial positioning, the expansion of our renewable portfolio, the development of system flexibility management capabilities, and strategic partnerships to support value creation in the medium to long term. The Group’s growth is also reflected in the increase in human resources, now exceeding 1,700 employees, and in its ability to act as an enabler of energy integration, thanks to the success achieved in energy release, involving over 250 industrial customers, and the signing of a tolling agreement for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with Metlen Group. In a context of evolving energy markets, the contribution of new businesses to our growth path is becoming increasingly evident. The initial results of energy release, together with the growth in wind and photovoltaic production, demonstrate the soundness of the strategic choices made and the progressive strengthening of a more diversified and resilient model."
In the first quarter, there was further expansion and enhancement of the renewable pipeline, thanks to the completion of the partnership with Epico Group, which expanded the Group’s portfolio of development projects. The transaction includes operational photovoltaic assets of 6.3 MWp, an additional 3 MWp authorised, and a development portfolio of up to 60 MWp, as well as a hydroelectric plant in an advanced authorisation phase.
EBITDA for the first quarter of 2026 stood at 96.7 million euros (117.5 million euros in the first quarter of 2025), penalised by a significant contraction in hydroelectric production (-33% water supply levels in the Eastern Alps) and lower selling prices compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The negative impact was partially offset by the growth of regulated businesses and the contribution of new activities related to electricity system flexibility, which together recorded a 12% increase in profitability in the quarter.
Production from wind and photovoltaic sources increased by 18% compared to the same period in 2025, with a portfolio of operational and under-construction plants exceeding 230 MW.
For the sixth consecutive quarter, the customer base continued to grow (+16,000 units in the quarter), reaching 830,000 units, demonstrating customer confidence in the Group and the effectiveness of the commercial strategy focused on long-term stability and transparency.
In parallel, the Group's growth path continues, strengthening its role as an enabler of the energy transition, leveraging integrated expertise across the entire value chain and an increasing ability to develop innovative solutions for managing system flexibility. In this context, the strengthening of the long-term contract portfolio, including the new PPA with NaturaSi, and the signing of a tolling agreement for a 25 MW – 75 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), which contributes to system stability and the integration of renewable sources, are strategic levers supporting the stability and competitiveness of Italian companies.
Thanks to its ability to seize the opportunities offered by regulatory evolution, the Group has been able to strengthen its support for the Italian production system, including through the Energy Release 2.0 contract signed with GSE, which involves over 250 energy-intensive companies with a total consumption of approximately 4 TWh/year and already contributes to the Group’s profitability in the quarter.
Through these initiatives, the Group is establishing itself as an enabler of the energy transition, supporting businesses in their decarbonisation journey and contributing to the development of a sustainable, flexible, and resilient energy system.
The Group has also strengthened its presence in regulated infrastructure, with the provisional award of the ATEM Trento gas tender, which consolidates activities in the regulated sector and helps ensure greater revenue stability and predictability.
The financial strategy adopted has resulted in a net financial position in line with the investment and development plan, increasing from 601 million euros at 31 December 2025 to 640 million euros in the first quarter of 2026, while maintaining financial solidity capable of supporting the growth path with a leverage ratio of 1.3x.
Investments for the period, amounting to 33 million euros, focused on renewable generation and the enhancement of distribution networks serving the areas covered, to make them increasingly efficient and, above all, resilient and capable of ensuring service continuity and security even in the face of extreme weather events.
The Group’s growth has also consolidated in terms of employment: the workforce has exceeded 1,700 employees, confirming a development approach that strengthens skills, attracts talent, generates local jobs and enhances execution capacity.
