Investments in the energy transition are accelerating.
Trento, 17 September 2024 – Dolomiti Energia Group and Macquarie Asset Management today signed an agreement for the transfer of a share in Hydro Dolomiti Energia held by Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 4, equal to 40% of the share capital. The agreement, which obtained approval from Golden Power and the Antitrust Authority, has a value of 401.5 million euros, with approximately 366.5 million euros paid as consideration.
Upon completion of the transaction, Dolomiti Energia Group, which already holds the remaining 60%, will own 100% of Hydro Dolomiti Energia.
The agreement reached seals 8 years of fruitful collaboration between the Macquarie Group and the Dolomiti Energia Group. Almost a decade of shared vision in each phase, addressing challenges and exploring new opportunities that have helped to achieve significant synergies and results.

Hydro Dolomiti Energia operates a group of hydroelectric plants in Trentino and Veneto, with a total efficient capacity of approximately 1,280 MW. These consist of 26 large-scale plants, for a total of 1,278 MW, and three small-scale plants, for a total of 2.4 MW.
